Each retreat is customized to the needs of the ministry or church. The hosting ministry is asked to invite 'Fathers' to participate at the end of the program by givingThe Father's Blessing. Fathers are asked to join us for lunch and instruction. We will create digital marketing materials (ie post cards, flyers, press release) you can print and promote your event. We request offerings not be taken during the event.
The host is asked to provide:
A facility preferably including projector/TV and sound system for PowerPoint video and audio presentation
Lunch and optional continental breakfast
"Fathers" for the Father's Blessing (1 per 5 attending)
A "Mother" for a Mother's Blessing
Boards - 1x12 pine cut in 10 inch sections - one for each attendee

Lunch Suggestions
1. Allow the men to serve the ladies 2. A simple menu of prepared foods, quickly presented 3. Food bars - soup/sandwiches, baked potato/salad bars, pasta 4. Bring a dish - pot luck 5. Catered lunch if preferred 6. CHOCOLATE!
We prefer the host not charge a fee; in our experience the best attended meetings charge no fees. It is our desire that everyone be able to attend, regardless of finances, and without being made to feel uncomfortable.
